Gill Zamora, FBI-trained forensic composite artist, blindly sketches women based upon their own descriptions of themselves versus the descriptions of strangers with whom they were recently interacting. You'll be pleasantly surprised by the differences!
I think that the video also suggests that most people (including men) waste too much of the precious time of life concerned about what other people might think (whether it be external physical beauty, social status, etc.), while the reality is that others likely judge us much less harshly than we judge ourselves. As it says in the video (and, I do believe it to be so true in a general sense [not just with physical appearance]): "We spend alot of time...analyzing and trying to fix things that aren't quite right, and we should spend more time appreciating the things that we do like."
I am a Pennsylvania licensed psychologist, certified hypnotherapist, and EMDR-Level II practitioner in full-time private practice. As a presenter for PESI, I provide national continuing education workshops for mental health and educational professionals. I also host my professional website that helps visitors simplify their overall healthcare, by improving their emotional health with my psychology-related links, e-books, hypnosis and other FREE self-help programs.
